A lot to be said for the 20th Century. We had two world wars, The Russian Revolution with Lenin and then Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini, Mao and Pol Pot and Erich Honecker and Nicolai Ceausescu... Charles Manson, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, the David Koresh and Janet Reno staredown...
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, and disco. So I can see why Joe wants to go back across that "Bridge to the 20th Century" that Bill Clinton and Al Gore boasted about building. Because otherwise we'd never have made it here.
Thanks to Joe Biden and Barack Obama, the first half of the 21st century looks to be a reprise of the 20th.
