Names of the alleged gangs include the Vikings, Jump Out Boys, the Executioners, the Banditos, the Regulators, the Spartans, the Gladiators, the Cowboys and the Reapers.
ReplyDeleteOf course, the names of the gangs doesn't really give an indication of what the goals and beliefs of the gang are, right? I mean, gangs named Angels, or The Protecters, or Justice Brothers, or maybe The Fairness Squad, could be just as questionable as the Executioners or the Reapers.

Clearly, someone decided that if you can't beat 'em, compete against 'em for the spoils.
ReplyDeleteWhile some yearn for the post apocalyptic lifestyle and fancy themselves as hardy survivalists or even potential warlords, nobody seems to have given any though to what comes immediately prior to the post apocalyptic wasteland.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's whatever apocalypse we have to get first. Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better, and there's no guarantee that they'll actually get better.
I understand cop gangs have been a part of Los Angeles culture from the get go.
