"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Ah... I saw the story yesterday, about the surfer who lost a leg and an off duty cop used his dog's leash to improvise a tourniquet. It mentioned that the leg washed up and was put on ice and taken to the hospital...
ReplyDeleteAnd now we know the rest of the story. Jeez.
I hope the young bloke gets the use of his leg. He must be a tough bastard to paddle back, and then for the limb to be found is incredible.
ReplyDeleteKilling sharks has been banned for about 20 years now and guess what, shark attacks have increased significantly.
Same as saltwater croc deaths up north.
If you like a good shark story, google shark vomits up human arm in Coogee aquarium 1935.
It is worthy of one of those true crime stories.
Mick: Wow! what a story!
