Because they're afraid of getting their a$$es kicked?
On the other hand, there are plenty of dumb people. But the thing is, those sort generally don't read articles like that. But if you're a journalist, ya gotta do a journalism now and then I guess.
It's probably a good idea to spell out for the ignorant, from time to time, that the mullahs in Iran do not exercise self-restraint out of the goodness of their black little hearts.
The mullahs know what happens; Israel has sent them messages by bombings inside Iran close to their important sites and the most recent removal of their top military people shows the mullahs that they could be removed too.
Maybe they could work out a lend/lease program with Afghanistan.
