Paco Enterprises' real estate sales subsidiary, Get Real(ty) Ltd, has an incredible new listing for an oceanfront house! The owners are highly motivated to move this property - in fact, this is the kind of home that moves itself! Hurry, don't let this one float -er, I mean, get - away.

ReplyDeleteWatching that reminds me of the rains and slides in CA maybe ten or fifteen years ago. There was footage of a cliffside house crumbling off the edge. Okay, bad enough.
ReplyDeleteBut apparently the owner of the house wasn't at home at the time. He was sitting in a bar, watching his own house slide over the cliff.
The owner was sitting in the bar calling in the insurance claim, and toasting bon voyage to his former residence.
DeleteIf they had put Styrofoam insulation between the floor joists it might have worked out as a houseboat; maybe a couple of telephone poles to keep it in place like they do with floating docks...
ReplyDeleteCoulda shoulda woulda... everyone is wise after the fact.
DeleteBut I see an opportunity here, to sell styrofoam to the owners of the houses that remained in place.
People will line up if it's recycled styrofoam. Keep it out of the landfills.
DeleteSure, it has water damage on the first floor, but one of those renovation shows should be up for the job. And just think, now ya can fish.
