You might be right. Wasn't there a news story a few years ago about Iran or somebody claiming the Israelis were using some kind of animal to spy? Dolphins, maybe?
While looking for that, I saw that Egypt detained a Jewish stork for espionage, among a zoo of other critters. Even lizards. Sneaky buggers, them Jews.
