However nice they appear on the surface, these people are adherents of an evil and degenerate political party and there's simply no excuse for that unless, somewhere deep down, they're comfortable with all of the leftist demagoguery and the possibility of an increasingly totalitarian government - or are at least willing to tolerate it all because they suffer from TDS (or, maybe, are just dumb as a bag of rocks). I'm not willing to bet that any of them would hide me in their attic during a purge.
