Historical note: 52nd St in Manhattan was a jazz hub from the early 1930s into the early 1950s, and was particularly noted as a haven for bebop in the late 1940s.

Billy Joel wrote a song and named an album 52nd Street.
Good album.
It's probably hipsters now. Like Hell's Kitchen.
A lot of the jazz clubs eventually became strip joints. Don't know what the area's like now.
