"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
All for the amazing low price of $10.99...million, that is. The everyman's flying car.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, how many such "game changing" flying car prototypes have we heard about one time, and then never again?
I'd like one as well, but r-man is right ... ... it'$ going to be expen$ive. FOUR Roll$ Royce turbine$? Oh, yeah, big buck$, baby!
ReplyDeleteThat said ... with an estimated range ("autonomy") of 3,200 kilometers (about 2,000 miles), the air car in the video doesn't seem to have much in the way of fuel tanks, especially for a 4 seater. Jet turbines slurp up the dinosaur juice!
That's what I was wondering about. Where's the fuel going to go that's sufficient to power those big engines, especially those kinds of distances.
Deleteat 2000 miles, looks like a short hop from Paco Estates to Marthas Vineyard or Nantucket for dinner is a possibility.
ReplyDeleteNah, we'd probably just head over to a What-A-Burger in Texas.
