ReplyDeleteI read local news about some neighbour who had retired from an illustrious civil service career in 'Interdepartmental communication'. That is, she spent her life 'making communication between departments more effective' (Yeah sure, please fill in this questionaire...)

there's 13 bureaus, but these are the best I can do off top of my head; oh and the National Aquarium was in the Commerce building's basement and the north end, which was The USPTO public search room at one time is now the Whitehouse Visitor Center.
USPTO and Census are functions mandated by the Constitution, the others, not.
