Poor Florida!

When you have to use a kayak to get around the inside of your house, things are pretty bad.

  1. I've wondered about electrocution in those circumstances; would paddling to the breaker box and flipping the room's power off be possible/recommended; wouldn't the breaker flip because of all that water?

    1. I think the breaker(s) would flip, but that's a question better left to people far more knowledgeable on the subject than I.

    2. They *should* flip, but they should be checked anyway, if that's at all possible. If I were the Florida Man™, I'd be more concerned about evacuating.

      If that's at all possible.

  4. They go to spam, sometimes, for reasons unknown. That's why I am now trying to go through my spam comments everyday to restore legitimate comments to their rightful place. You did inadvertently leave a weather-related comment in the comments section of another post yesterday.

  6. The flooding in North Carolina is horrendous; the state transportation department announced that no one should travel anywhere in the state.
