I'd be funny if most of the people taking them up on the offer were Trump voters.
ReplyDelete"OMG! My next-door neighbor is a Nazi Trumper!!"
I was wondering about that, myself. Trump should build a couple of communities on the island: Trump Villas, The Cottages of Trump Beach. Then, maybe the sore losers can be enticed to remove themselves to St. Helena.
DeleteOh, and Americans … don’t forget to bring your money.
ReplyDeleteRepopulate with TDS sufferers.
ReplyDeleteWhat's Italian for 'That won't end well'?
I'd pay to have a daily parade of the God-Emperor Trump float.
ReplyDeleteThen, the locals can buy the lots at a steep discount.
Win-Win.
It looks quite remote, right in the middle of Sardinia and 100+ miles from the airport. I suspect the restaurants and entertainment have packed up and moved out as well. But the scenery is said to be quite nice. If someone could guarantee good food and liquid refreshment, I would suggest we all get retirement homes and form a Paco enclave. No need to worry about expats fleeing Trump; those people are all talk and will never actually leave. And if any ever did, imagine their surprise when we constitute the welcoming committee.
ReplyDeleteA splendid idea! It would be nice to have a place in Italy to get away from it all. Who knows? There may well come a time when it would be advantageous for us to lie low for a while.
DeleteIt's Italy, good food and liquid refreshment are a given.
DeleteLocally made vino, grappa, sambucca, almond liquor, grappa, vino are easy to get.
Local salami, prosciutto, cappicola, etc. ditto.
sounds good
DeletePaco Estates at Trump Beach
Italian gun laws are annoying and bureaucratic, it is Italy, but you can own them.
ReplyDeleteSelf defense is more problematic I'd assume.
I'd run for law enforcement, then we'd have a .50 BMG day!
