From her very first movie in 1945, 'Wonder Man' with Kaye and Mayo. But she'd been on Broadway since 1939. The whole scene begins with a song, 'So In Love', her voice is dubbed by June Hutton:

DeleteI didn't know but enjoyed finding these early bits of her story. Her real singing voice is surprising, earthy and not at all angelic as I might have imagined. I'm enjoying listening to her talk and sing:
