"A revolution of common sense"

Trump is giving his inauguration speech right now, and he is not sugar-coating anything. His tone is somber, but demonstrating steely determination and the promise of an America reborn.

Check out the new White House landing page here.

Update: Haw! Let Fetterman be Fetterman.

Update II  Do you think In-the-Dark Brandon really knew what was going on?

As to the rest of the Democrats: I hope they enjoy their inauguration lunch...

  1. I watched this inauguration, which I’ve never done before for any president. I have to say I was moved to tears a couple of times. Also, I loved how Trump didn’t hold back while he was ripping the Biden administration a new one.

    1. I also liked the way Carrie Underwood carried on acapella when the musical backup failed.

    2. Carrie Underwood carried the day with her beautiful performance. A musician I am not, but I always appreciate raw talent; she does not need the technological crutches other performers do.

And I especially liked the inclusion of "The Battle Hymn of The Republic", including this verse:

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me:
As he died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,
      While God is marching on.

That verse is seldom used these days. That, I think, sends a message to the world.

  2. The marching bands had to do their stuff indoors in cramped spaces but it was still impressive. No wonder Vance's son held his ears tho.

  3. Fetterman has a lot more entertainment value than Dr Oz would have.
