I read somewhere a long time ago that alligators can survive freezing temperatures. They’ve been around for millions of years so it stands to reason.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they just keep their snoots slightly above the surface and go into something resembling a state of suspended animation. A very durable, tough, adaptable critter.
