I can't keep up with all the winning.
Fox News exclusively reported Tuesday evening that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will “immediately” pull retired Gen. Mark Milley’s personal security detail and security clearance.
But the news gets even better: Hegseth will order the new acting Inspector General to conduct a review to ascertain whether evidence exists for Milley to lose a star in retirement due to his deceitful actions “undermining the chain of command” during President Donald Trump’s first term.
Milley earned this. ALL of this.
ReplyDeleteI also like the tidbit that a second portrait of that cretin has been removed from the Pentagon.
Why does Milley have a security detail in the first place? Is this standard practice for retired flag and general officers?
ReplyDeleteI think it's because of Iran's threats; similar to Bolton's security detail.
DeleteYes, just checked and it was because of the Suleimani strike.
DeleteHe ought to lose more than a star, but I’ll be happy if we get only that, because that will be his record forever.
ReplyDeleteI think he should stand in the middle of a hollow square while a another general snips his buttons off and yanks the stars off his shoulders. Maybe pants him, too.
DeleteIn a perfect world he would be busted to private, but stars are a general's most prized possession, and taking even one away is about the most humiliating thing that happen. Other generals will get the message.
DeleteWhy would the Iranians be after him?
ReplyDeleteHe, like the rest of Biden's Brain Trust, was on their side after all.
The gnashing of teeth as Trump fulfills campaign promise after campaign promise makes the winning even more winningly marvelous.
Iran is big mad because of the killing of Solemani and put milley on a list.
DeleteIt breaks my heart to see an honorable General treated this way.
ReplyDeleteSo, it gladens my heart to see Milley treated this way, of course.
