"Juan Merchan Sentences Trump to Unconditional Discharge: No Penalty, Conviction Upheld".
I wish we could pack this crooked judge back to Colombia, but there's no way I can see. Let's pray that, the next time the judge visits the old country, some zealous person doesn't find a way to deliver to him (and demonstrate the use of) what, back in the Cocaine Cowboy days in Miami, used to be known as a "Colombian rosary". A kind of...necklace.
That would be a terrible thing to imagine. Not that I've been imagining it, you understand.
Having their cake and eating it too. No penalty but the felon conviction sticks.
ReplyDeleteConsidering how that worked to Trump's advantage, Merchan would have been smarter to fully acquit and let the whole affair slide into the footnotes of history.
Are you serious? If Merchan plays his cards right he'll never have to pay for a meal or buy a drink again in NYC.
DeleteIt’s not going to affect the incoming Trump administration one iota. They can yammer “convicted felon” till the cows come home but the majority of Americans will just regard it as the Democrats crying in the wilderness, and go on about their day. Even history, while recording it, will be replete with the accounts of Democratic perfidy. I’d love to see the history books of the future.
