Apparently the crowd was too big for the Feebs to drop a dozen MAGA hats on the scene and unfurl a Trump/Vance flag... so that's why they're reluctant to call it terrorism.

Update on the badge -- apparently that's an NOPD tradition, because the chief carries the weight of the department.
