As per X, all the DOGE team had to do was change the passwords of all the OPM executives, since they were working from home.

in 2016 I think Trump was surprised by his win and hadn't been prepared; the chaos/resistance might have continued if the2020 election hadn't been fortified for Biden; this time he was prepared and had a team doing research and prep for day 1 and it's been overwhelming; he's gotten inside their decision loop and the can't keep up, yet.
ReplyDeleteI think that’s the right way to look at it. If we’d had some people with business experience in charge instead of career politicians and “experts”, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping that Trump had learned something from the bad experiences of his first term. Even I am pleasantly surprised by the scope and alacrity of the changes. It feels very much like a revolution.
