Here’s what diversity actually looks like in a Hollywood or Sundance room: the female Democrat, the black Democrat, the Latinx Democrat and Hamas. If you’re a multi-hyphenate Democrat, your chances of program entry go up.
And if (a BIG if) there’s a white guy, he’s waving the flag at the Pride parade.

DeleteSorry, but 'Hollywood' died many years ago in my daily life, with no hope for resucitation; so there's nothing I need from them now.
ReplyDeleteIf content of a conservative nature gets made by someone, I would judge it on its own merit, and either watch it, or ignore it.
But, this old man is tired of entertainment that doesn't entertain.
That's why Mrs. Paco and I are spending our declining years catching up on movies made from the 1930s through the 1970s.
DeleteHollywood's hold on the world is down to the fingernails now, and good riddance to its dull, preachy self-righteousness. Angel Studios seems to be trying to rescue things, but I once had a boss who kept proclaiming what a Christian's Christian he was, and I didn't trust him either. Lately I've been watching a lot of old movies too, and even though a lot of that was junk too, at least it wasn't preachy junk.
