I love that guy's videos. The attitudes, the timing, the small details (e.g., the voice fading away when whatever animal is featured walks off), all very well done.
The Bee one about tiny paddles reminds of when Gov, Pataki of NY signed a hate speech law and said that if only German had them int he Twenties and Thirties we'd have been spared Hitler.
And I thought, the Weimar Repulic did have hate speech laws, which they did apply against Hitler and the Nazis. And then what happened, dumba$$?
Ever read The Good Soldier Švejk ? About speaking carefully to avoid secret police in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Everywhere in Europe except Switzerland used to be awash with informers for centuries. Anti-speech laws are ancient.
