Friend and commenter Veeshir was talking in the comments section the other day about Martini rifles, ammo, etc., and I was looking through some YouTube videos on Martinis, and stumbled across this interesting item: a Greener Martini 14 ga shotgun. The shotgun shell is actually a 12 ga necked down to a 14, and the firing pin is a truly unique contraption.

That's cool.
ReplyDeleteFolks used to repurpose old guns all the time.
I was broke at the time so I let my nemesis/buddy but a Zulu shotgun.
A repurposed French musket (only dropped once!) into a 12 gauge shotgun made for folks heading west.
He also got the sniper Mosin Nagant. Bastid.
Interesting!
ReplyDeleteThe Egyptian police must have had a serious problem with gun thieves in their ranks for the leadership to go to those measures.
