Hard to believe that Colorado was once a rough and tumble region of the old west

But then, so was California: "Colorado House Democrats Pass Bill That Allows State to SEIZE Children from Their Parents if They 'Misgender' and Makes 'Misgendering' a Discriminatory Act".

  1. That’s appalling. If Colorado’s governor doesn’t veto that, it’s sure to be taken up in the courts, all the way to the Supreme if necessary.

    1. That's what I'm thinking. I don't believe even the present SCOTUS would let that stand (of course, things there are so unsure these days, nothing would surprise me).

  2. I don't get, I'd say calling a boy 'she' is misgendering and should carry a lengthy prison sentence.
Wait, you mean the other way?
    Nevermind.

  3. sometimes it's hard to tell, my dad used to misgender any boy with long hair; maybe a generational thing or maybe he was just being a dick; it's unclear if he could have been charged for it under this law.
