I try to stay positive...

...but there are days when I tend to think that our society is just too far gone.

Of course, that's a big city and not necessarily representative of the country as a whole. But the madness is spreading.

  1. There's an indie film called Mondo NY from the 80s that shows freaks in Greenwich Village clubs at 2AM.
It was meant to Scare The Straights.
It is tame compared to anywhere in Manhatten today.

  2. It wasn't just the Village, it was other places. I haven't seen it since the 80s, cuz I'm not all that into freaks

"1980's including stand-up comedy in Central Park, a prostitution auction, a voodoo ceremony, an S&M club and a diverse mix of very interesting performance artists."

  3. Imagine if Obama and all the other globalists had managed to push everybody into - what are they called ? - 15-minute cities, I think (cities in which everything is within 15 minutes of where you live). We'd live like ants with the added disadvantage of being surrounded by kooks and criminals.

Saw a place in Arizona the other day for sale: nice house on almost 70 acres. Looking better all the time. On the other hand, I guess it would be tiresome burying all the trespassers.

    1. That's what backhoes are for, Paco. Get one with a thumb, and you can use it to pick up the bodies.

Or you could cremate them, and spread the ashes in your garden; I hear that's great fertilizer. As an added bonus, think of all the carbon you would spew into the atmosphere!

  4. This is a major reason why I moved so late in life. I had lived in the only urban area of an agricultural county for 30+ years, but we had idiots from the west side of the Cascades move there, and the place is going downhill, fast.

What was once a farming community became an urban sprawl, complete with increasing crime, drug use, and corruption.
