It's hard to say; I think I saw that Francis has elevated 70% of the guys to the college of Cardinals, so they might all be progressive and vote a like minded member of the group in, but it's possible.
ReplyDeleteYes, I had read awhile back that he had packed a bunch of his cronies into the College of Cardinals. We'll see just how willing the progressives are to trigger a civil war within the Church.

I would love to see him elected as Pope! The African clergy, in general, are far more conservative in their doctrine than the clergy in Europe and the United States.
