And now, a word from our sponsor

I'm now scared to go to breakfast.

  1. Great... Killer Klown Krunch!

I never cared for sweetened cereals. Didn't like Frosted Flake, or Cocoa Puffs, or Lucky Charms, and really disliked Captain Crunch. I don't recall ever seeing that ad, but perhaps I was exposed to it in utero. Sweetened cereal and clowns... both works of Satan.

    1. I liked Frosted flakes, but Ma Paco rarely ever bought them. The others you name were sickeningly sweet.

    2. In retrospect the cereals I preferred were "adult" ones. Grape Nuts, Wheat Chex, Shredded Wheat. The first time I encountered granola i was hooked. It wasn't a commercial product, a family friend made it herself and I got her recipe and used to make my own long before the big brands figured out they could make money producing it.

  2. That's a product that didn't survive the ages! Apparently it left the shelves in 1969. For good reason, I would say.

I stopped eating breakfast cereals long ago, but Rice Krispies sounds better thank these "Krinkles", IMHO. Toast is better in the AM.

And while I do not suffer from any form of coulrophobia, that particular actor is ... ... disturbing.

    1. Before I started to have to watch my diet, pancakes were my go-to breakfast food.

  3. He looks like Pennywise coming out at the beginning. Musta popped the balloon on the way up.

You can have my Peanut Butter Capt Crunch and Sugar Corn Pops when you take them from my cold, milk-filled, bowl! Warning: I'm well-armed.
With toast, juice, vitamins and bacon, they're part of a nutritious breakfast!

    1. Pennywise was my first thought too.
Gutter, kennel - any time a clown pops up where he doesn't belong, be afraid.
