Interesting! One has to wonder just how effective this design was. Although I suspect that it was dropped more because "Guns in an airplane!?!?!?!? ZOMG!" than anything else.
I would sure like to see it fired a couple of times - maybe at some Karen trying to force a steamer trunk in the overhead.
