Turning point

I checked in, from time to time, on the memorial service for Charlie Kirk, and it was extremely impressive.

I was bowled over by Charlie Kirk's wife, Erica. Erica Kirk's speech was, in my opinion, magnificent, a riveting tribute, a solemn display of grief, and a message of hope. When she paused and looked up and softly said - almost whispered - "God help me", then proceeded to say "I forgive him" (speaking of the assassin) it was one of the most sublime Christian acts I have ever witnessed, and I honor her for that, without qualification and with all due humility.

  1. Erica Kirk demonstrated that she is a far better person than I am.

  2. I saw a meme something like:
I watched the left celebrating Trump being shot.
Now I realize they'll celebrate me being shot.

  3. I saw something from a Doctor that said the 30.06 bullet that hit him should have gone through and probably would have injured or killed some of the people behind him, but it stopped, not far into his neck.

    1. I haven't seen any formal reports, but apparently the bullet hit his spine. That would stop a .30-06 round.
