the Episcopal church, had a split a while back on similar grounds; it's unfortunate, but it has been determined that church property belongs to the official church hierarchy, not the people, so even if they are the majority they'll have to find a new place to hold services.
Good for them, take your Church back. I saw this and started wondering about another Avignon papacy. Although it would probably be in the US or Africa and not EUnikstan.
