We went to Chesapeake, VA to attend a Latin Mass (didn't see anyone who stuck out as FBI), and then drove down to Manns Harbor, NC to visit my step father, who I believe was trying to kill me by stuffing me with substantial amounts of food. Just relaxed for a few days, but I did get in some work harvesting pecans; my stepfather, Jim, has two huge trees, and they have generated literally hundreds (perhaps thousands) of pecans.
Saw that the donks took Virginia and New Jersey, and Mamdani is now Caliph of New York. Virginia needs to expel the northeastern counties like a cat hacking up a fur ball, and Jersey is plain hopeless, I guess. I believe Mamdani's honeymoon is going to end pretty quickly; as Florida Senator Rick Scott said, Mamdani will probably prove to be Florida's top realtor for the next four years.
Oh, got a notice from the County Clerk's office that my deed now includes the names of Veeshir, R-Man and JeffS. Fine with me boys; you can start ponying up with your share of the property taxes.

I have a large container of loose change that I am packing up to pay the taxes; thanks for not making me take that stash to the bank! Might want to pick up some coin rolls, though.
