"After the murder of Iryna Zarutska, the Democratic sheriff of Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Garry McFadden, has decided that the actual victim of that crime isn't Iryna or even the criminal who stabbed her, Decarlos Brown, Jr.
It's the magistrates who let him go free more than a dozen times."

I remember that this hot dog had a reality crime show on one of the cable channels some years ago, in which he talked about murder cases he had solved as a Charlotte homicide investigator ("the highest number of murder cases solved by the homicide department" - says...his office). I figured he'd be bad news as a sheriff, and apparently others, including some of the people who work for him, have felt the same way. Not to mention his fellow sheriffs.
Snappy dresser, though. At least he's got that going for him.
So people being mean to someone important online is worse than some random serf being butchered on her way home.
