The pussification of America's police chiefs

Not all of them, of course, not even most of them (I hope), but too many - including this lachrymose character in Portland: "Far-Left Portland Police Chief CRIES Over Two Tren de Aragua Gang Members Who Were Shot After They Tried to Run Over Border Patrol Agents".

Update  Of course, these lefty lawmen aren't all crybabies - or even men. There's also this brash Karen playing the part of the typical black female stereotype from 1970s sitcoms: "Philadelphia Sheriff Calls ICE ‘Fake, Wannabe’ Cops Violating the Legal and ‘Moral Law’".

Philadelphia Sheriff Rochelle Bilal — employing hipster slang and evoking a call-and-response chant — on Friday called federal immigration agents “fake, wannabe” law enforcement and claimed their actions violate both “legal law” and “moral law.”

Update II  Haw! The Philadelphia Police Commissioner reminded the sheriff who's actually in charge of law enforcement in the city (spoiler: it ain't her): Philly Police Commissioner Issues a DEVASTATING Response to Woke Sheriff Who Threatened to Arrest ICE Agents and Warned Them “You Don’t Want This Smoke!”.

  1. What a man. She said, tongue in cheek.

  2. He probably carries his service weapon unloaded because, y'know, it's "dangerous".

  3. Regarding the sheriff who really isn't a sheriff* ... ...

That rebuttal ought to be as embarrassing as when the DC police chief asked "What's the chain of command?" during a press conference.

Except, of course, lefties have no sense of shame, so she'll just cope and seethe.

*: According to my quick research, the city of Philadelphia is "consolidated with the county", sharing the same boundaries, and hence jurisdiction.

The article says that the sheriff has no police duties ("... with a mission that includes court security, the service of legal process, prisoner transport, fugitive apprehension, and sheriff’s sales ...")

That sheriff's department is barely above rent-a-cop status!

I'm guessing when the city and county consolidated, they decided having two local law enforcement agencies wasn't a good idea, which is not unreasonable.

But that "sheriff" is so full of herself, she publicly outed herself as a nitwit.

    1. Very similar to the independent cities of Virginia, which are not part of a county, but do typically have a sheriff's department that is in charge of the same stuff: courthouse security, prisoner transport, process serving, etc.

    2. Woodstock, NY had Woodstock police, Town of Olive, Ulster County sheriffs and occasionally NYS police and little or no crime.
4 sets of bored cops made life a pain sometimes.

Fake, wannabe cop. Something she sees in her mirror every morning.

    1. Haw! I incorrectly read that first line as fat, wannabe cop. Annnnd...it certainly works for her.

  5. Good for Commissioner Bethel. Sistah Almostcop’s ears are probably burning.
