    There's speculation that, given the absolute silence from the religious arm of the Iranian regime, that the "Assembly of Experts" was indeed killed in that air strike.

    From that, the IRGC is ignoring the so-called "Guardian Council", or at least the nominal president, into a dictatorship. Not that they have all that much control; the best they can is hunker down and launch the occasion missile or drone.

    As the IRGC are die hard religious fanatics and/or murderous thugs, we should not expect much reason on their part.

    To put it mildly.
