A first cousin to the Chevrolet El Camino, the Sprint is a vehicle I was completely unacquainted with until I read this article. That big block 454 engine is fine.
Looks like something that belongs in Veeshir's collection.

I no longer own a Caballero.
ReplyDeleteThe last straw was the new gas tank I bought for it.
It had a leak that I thought was caused by the people who installed it, so I had it welded in June.
When it got hot, the pressure in the tank built up until it cracked something. I had a full tank of gas, then I kept smelling gas and finally I had no gas.
I sold my mobile home and pretty much threw the Caballero in with the deal. I warned the guy and wished him luck but I was done trying to do anything with that fricking car.
$15k down the drain.
Yeah, I remember you mentioned that you were getting rid of the Caballero. I'm sorry you had so much trouble with it. I had never heard of the Sprint, and didn't know, until today, that it was the predecessor to the Caballero.
