...but, so far, at least, things haven't gotten this bad.

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
"A committee of vultures" I didn't know that one but I like it and it sure as hell describes most political committees as well.
ReplyDeleteWe have a similar problem with White Ibis. They are large wading birds that have recently taken over large parts of cities on the east coast. They can open trash cans with their long beaks and make a horrible mess, if you get hit with bin chicken (as they are commonly called) droppings, you are headed home for a complete washdown.
What Mick said about the White Ibis.
DeleteThey have become a common sight around Perth too in the last 10-15 years. One house nearby seemed particularly attractive. Maybe they were being fed by the owners. But you could walk past any time of day and there would be a half dozen in the front yard and a few on the roof as well.
