Yes, they kind of do

"Our Billionaires Kind of Stink".

And while many of the ultra-wealthy either keep to themselves or do good with part of their fortunes, there are those who see their wealth as a weapon to be used to advance their ideological programs. George Soros and his Open Society come to mind, as they have been the driver for much of the anti-Western, anti-Israel protests for the past decade. Reid Hoffman apparently dropped $7 million to fund E. Jean Carroll’s sexual harassment suit against Donald Trump. The supposed victim cannot recall when the purported crime took place and conveniently said under oath that she received no outside funding for the lawsuit. The Department of Justice has opened an investigation into possible perjury in her deposition. Neville Roy Singham is a tech billionaire who apparently is one of the major funders of anti-ICE, anti-Trump, and anti-West protests in the United States. He is an “avowed Marxist” who sold his IT consulting firm for nearly $1 billion.

This is why, when legislators propose special taxes on billionaires, I just sort of look the other way, observe the clouds floating by, and whistle a happy tune.

  1. To be fair, if I were a billionaire, I would use some of my money to fight the leftists.

As dispiriting as the behavior of billionaires who made themselves rich is, the absolute worst are the ones who just inherited it. Trust fund babies like Hasan Piker can live in luxury while spouting the most idiotic socialist twaddle.
