Democratic institutions do not fail simply because people in government lie and cheat

They fail when the liars and cheaters routinely escape justice: "Straight to Jail, Jack Smith, Straight to Jail".

I would love to see "General Zod" do time, and I will keep a good thought, but I am not optimistic.
