  2. In case anybody's curious and doesn't know, the music is from "Morning Mood", from Grieg's Peer Gynt suite. I first heard it when I was a kid, as the soundtrack to an orange juice commercial. I don't think any piece of music better communicates the breaking of day.

  3. I remember that commercial, but I swear it was in a Warner Bros. cartoon, that's what I always think of when I hear it.
    I can't find it but I seem to remember swans.

  5. Passages from the pastoral movement in William Tell are also frequently used in Warner Bros cartoons to accompany early morning scenes (e.g., the opening scene of this cartoon ).
