Working-with-your-hands Wednesday
Period correct (even the sideburns).
I'm diggin' the washing machine (at about 33:18). My maternal grandmother had one of those (it was an upgrade from a zinc tub, washboard and rollers).
Coulda been my grandma's house. I got my fingers stuck in the wringer on her washing machine. She did not use it anymore, but it still worked. I wondered how tight it was, I found out. It was an unpleasant experience.
Yep, that's how I remember the houses both my grandparents lived in.
