...but if I were a native-born Frenchman who venerated western civilization, my fear would be that there won't be a civil war, just complete capitulation. "France on Fire".
When a leading French writer, Michel Houllebecq, warns that “We are witnessing a disintegration. It is a catastrophe,” and the former chief of the defense staff under Macron, Pierre de Villiers, says that “we are in a strange period, and my fear is civil war,” the Western world needs to listen. Muslims constitute a larger share of the population in France than in any other European country. What they do in France, which the far-left party La France Insoumise and its demagogic leader, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, shamefully supports, is what they will soon be doing elsewhere.
During our three years in West Germany, we toured a lot of places, but never made it to France or Spain, which I always regretted. For a while we entertained the idea of going back as tourists. Even if Mr. H was still around, going to Europe is unthinkable now.
