Joe Biden - Super Genius

I've been doing research on Joe Biden, and I think he's a formidable candidate. Politically savvy, an expert on foreign policy, an original thinker, and a brilliant scholar; yep, a real asset to Obama's team...

Update: Meh-heh! Dog Fight at Bankstown reveals that John Kerry has come out swinging and, as usual, has planted one on his own pointy chin. In an effort to tie Sarah Palin to Dick Cheney, Herman Munster uttered this devastating judgment: "'With the choice of Gov. Palin, it’s the third term of Dick Cheney,' Kerry said on ABC News' 'This Week.' 'He’s chosen somebody who doesn’t believe climate change is man-made.'"

I sincerely hope that the Obama campaign has Kerry pop up at regular intervals, like a scary jack-in-the-box, to point out more Palin-Cheney similarities. Maybe it will go something like this:

Week One: "Sarah Palin thinks the surge worked."

Week Two: "Sarah Palin thinks that the U.S. Constitution gives citizens the right to keep and bear arms."

Week Three: "Sarah Palin thinks that if you drill for oil, you'll get more of it."

The evening of November 5th: "Sarah Palin helped McCain steal the election."

Honestly, I think John Kerry has at least as much hair inside of his head as outside.

Does Obama actually want to win this election? What kind of a choice is Joe Biden? It's the Audacity of What the Heck.

Although I would have couched that sentence in somewhat saltier language, I think it pretty much sums up the whole Obama campaign (and there are so many summing ups lately).

Heh! I read about Kerry earlier, and I see that Lurch has not lost his ability to speak clearly with his foot in his mouth.

Seriously. John "I was in Vietnam" Kerry does such a great job for the Republicans, one has to wonder if Lord Karl suborned him long ago.

RJ: A fascinating speculation. If Kerry is in the pay of Rove, then I suppose he could be summarily shot by the Democrats if they find out (wait; they don't have any guns. Bwahaha!)

They could always take away his Botox injections. Kerry would go into withdrawal; at his age, that would be fatal.

Paco, there is some scary stuff in your Biden links. I find this quote in the foreign policy link particularly frightening:
[September 2007] the Senate considered a bipartisan amendment to designate the Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization, an important step to aid nonviolent efforts to deny it funds and financing. Biden was one of only 22 senators to vote against it. "I voted against the amendment to designate Iran's Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization because I don't trust this [US] administration," he said.
Does such comment from a US senator ring some alarm bells in your electorate?

Skeeter: It ought to ring alarm bells for anyone who ain't deaf. This is one reason why I don't believe Sarah Palin has to worry too much about facing up to Biden's foreign policy "experience".

....a man "who has stared down dictators."

Yeah, probably a "Who's Who" of dictators....and occasionally a Senate page, for good measure!

Even better: he thought that a good faith gesture to sort out "The Arab Problem" would be a $200M gift to the Iranians.

Some one suggested that Neville Chamberlain viewed foreign policy through the wrong end of a municipal drain pipe; Sen Biden strives to match that.

Cheers

Good to read Skeeter's comments and the responses to them. But why isn't the media reporting accordingly. I devour media in Australia and haven't read anything like that to date. Let's hope that changes and these facts reach beyond the blogs. Mehaul
