"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh

ReplyDeletePaco, Merry Christmas to you & your Lovely Bride & that Handsome Marine Paco, too.
ReplyDeleteWe had our presents under the tree today so as not to drive the kids nuts trying to decide which grandparent to bless with the BEEootiful Granddaughter first. They'll spend tomorrow over there & I'll get a rare day off.
I mention this as a lead-in to thanking you for your literary recommendation a few weeks back. I purchased a used copy of Doctor Dogbody's Log & My Chief (Retired) is THRILLED beyond belief. Thank you, from the bottom of my black little heart.
KC: I am always delighted when somebody finds one of my book recommendations useful.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and yours.
By the way, KC, I meant to ask you: is your Chief by any chance a Navy man?
ReplyDeleteFeliz Navidad a Familia Paco. Y Prospero Año y Felicidad.
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes to you and your family, Paco; also to the blogship and to all who wassail in her.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the pardoning of the border patrol officers. It's a serious issue, but Bush has not looked too sure-footed on the pardon front so far.
Paco - 22 years a Navy Man. Most in P-3's but 6 aboard USS Nimitz & USS Constellation as LDO. Passed over for advancement, went back to Chief & P-3's till retirement. Retired November 2006.
ReplyDeleteA very happy and blessed Christmas to everyone of the Pacoistas and Pacoettes out there.
ReplyDeleteMay everyone of you enjoy a healthy and happy 2009 and beyond.
A belated Merry Christmas Paco to you and yours. All the best for the New Year. Keep churning out the great stories.
