Patum Peperium takes on the Lilliputian elitists who have gone cross-eyed trying to look down their noses at someone who towers above them (H/T: The Other McCain.     Yeah, that's the biggest problem I have with the RNC. Time was, an inexperienced or controversial VP wasn't such a big problem for them (e.g, Dan Quayle, who was not the best choice, even at the time).

    Palin had her downside, but I didn't see those as fatal. But she wasn't a member of the Good Old Boy club, and too down to earth.

    Hence the sneering....and a major reason why I refuse to donate to the RNC. Instead, I send directly to specific campaigns. God bless the INTERNET.

    Guys I dissent from calling Chris Hitchens a snob and I told Mrs P so. He's a fanatic atheist and anti-Christian bigot, but I can't call the guy who gives audiences the finger with a 'f**k you' while defending GWB a snob.

    Feel free to straighten me out if I'm wrong.
