New Israeli Flag

Not official, of course, but a nice variation on the Gadsden flag (notice the Hebrew for "Don't Tread on Me").

A big H/T to Seraphic Secret.

  2. I seem to recall a requirement for a copper serpent mounted on a stick.

But who reads requirements documents anymore?

  3. Awesome!

It seems the Poles and Czechs may need one too.

  4. It's best that this flag has as many legs as possible to counter the new flag the Obama AD is trying to promote. That one shows a newly beheaded snake, oozing oil, with the caption:

    GO AHEAD, WE DESERVE IT

  5. Would've sent Email, but you don't expose an address.

You may remember me from Old Blair's. I'm blogging now at Ric's Rulez, and could use the hits.

    Regards,

  7. Ric: C'mon man, even I found the email addy.

However, with my limited Hebrew, I'm pretty sure the translation actually says:

'Go on, just F*cking try us and see what happens'...

  9. I can actually remember a press conference held by the Israeli Army where, following a particularly well conducted pounding of various enemies, the interviewer asked a general "Do you have any message for them?" and he replied flatly "Yes, Don't mess with us."

I was astonished and delighted with the barefaced honesty and lack of 'nuance'. Lovely stuff, and in line with the flag proposed herein.

  10. Having spent some kibbutz time on the northern border and seen first hand how the Israelis respond, I think the current flage does a pretty good job of conveying the message!

  11. Thanks, Paco.

My Profile shows an email address. So does Richard McEnroe's, and so do several others.

The others have a "contact" panel above the "user stats", with email and non-Blogger blog (if any) listed. The version I get of yours does not, only the "user stats", so I had to ask.

    Thanks for linking!

    Regards,
    Ric

  12. Hi, thank you for sharing this great info. Was just browsing through the net in my office and happened upon your blog. It is really very well written and quit comprehensive in explaining with a very simple language.
