Happy Thanksgiving!

Best wishes to all my readers and commenters for a wonderful day. And God bless our troops, who, day in and day out, prove that America is still the land of the free and the home of the brave. Above all, may our leaders learn that our warriors deserve victory, not "off-ramps".

Update: An Ed Driscoll Thanksgiving (don't forget your Camel cigarettes).

The same to youse, your family and everyone in PacoNation.

I think true leaders already understand that simple truth. Leaders, almost by definition, are not uncomfortable with the concept of victory. Based upon press reports, even NATO understands this.

Holy heck, what a truly beautiful table you have before you.

Bless all out there.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Paco.

We don't do Thanksgiving down in Aus, but by the look of that table maybe we should start.

The turkey looks almost too perfect: Hang on.... you wouldn,t would you, no, don't tell me you and Wonwright fired up the Tardis and went back to get George W's old plastic bird.

Please tell me it isn't so.

Cheers
Mick

Mick: We did, in fact, go back in time to grab the plastic turkey. But you know what? The damned thing turned out to be real! And delicious!

Thanks for the good wishes. One thing I'm particularly thankful for is Australia. And Australians, of course.

Happy Thanksgiving Paco et al.

No vegemite on the table though, would you like a care package for Christmas!

And Mick, you beat me to it!

Probably too late (or too early - damn time difference always confuses me) but a happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you. Gods bless you!

You realise of course that it was an Australian catering company that prepared the infamous plastic bird?

Like others have said - what a feast. It brings back memories of this wonderful bit of Monty Python:

I hope you didn't skimp on the pate.
