If Obama needs some reasons to back off his bullying of Israel...
Far too many people, including Congress, continue to talk and act as if the truth is NOT staring them in the face every day. This is a My-Way-Or-The-Highway kind of jerk. He cares not a bit what We The People or the Jews think of him and his policies. He may listen and look studious, and spout comforting words, and when you turn your back, he'll have one of his thugs stab you, and go on with everything he had planned in the first place, without a second thought.
Armageddon won't touch him, he'll sit it out under a mountain in Colorado, then come out a Glorious Victor...and you KNOW the script from there, don't you?
Paco, Obama is a Muslim, by upbringing, and more importantly, by inclination, so he acts accordingly.
Here is a post i wrote earlier on another blog discussing why the world "cares" so much about the israel/"Palestine" conflict. i think it's ok to post here -seems relevant. i think my second paragraph nails it, but i felt i should be polite.
"I agree with what you wrote about the west seeing israel as 'one of us" and the issue being a microcosm of battle between East and west.
People "care" so much about Israel and "Palestine" because they see israel as the entity they can bully and control about 'peace" because if they for one moment allowed themselves to learn abotu jihad and what it means for us the west, they would shit themselves.
Much easier to blame Israel for everything, just like it's easiest to blame a sexually-abused child for the abuser's actions.
in case you missed it, the abuser is the entire Arab Muslim world which is pushing jihad.
This is a summary of my opinion - if i wrote all the subtler elements, i'd be here all day. thanks for the space."
