"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
I drove down there with Deborah Leigh. Incredible experience. Editing the video now. Short version: Harry Reid is transcendatly boned and Obama is going to start seeing yellow flags in his sleep.
ReplyDeleteMy connection is wobbly today, for some reason, so I wasn't able to see most of the pictures, but I loved the report. I admit I was angry and upset when Obamacare "passed" (in the manner of a really bad bowel movement), but now I'm just flat out determined, and it's demonstrations like this that keep the determination up.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Richard, it was an incredible experience. We had a great time! At one point when we were in Searchlight it was reported that there were 20,000 at the site and traffic was backed up from Henderson (south of Vegas) for 10 miles! As we turned onto the road to Henderson we saw cars parked on the side of the road for miles! People had walked that far to get to the event when there was not parking!
ReplyDeleteThe pro-Reid folks were really "welcoming". Read more at Andrew Breitbart's blog. God knows the media won't cover this.
Richard is right. Harry better get the moving van. Of course, I'll bet he doesn't really live in Searchlight. There's nothing much there. I'd love an investigation into the last time he set a toe in that town.

Richard, Deborah: sounds wonderful! Wish I could have been there.
ReplyDeletePaco, it was wonderful. It was like Woodstock for people with jobs.
ReplyDeletePaco, we thought of you and the Missus as we drove through the desert. Especially beautiful was the preserve that the road to Searchlight ran through. The joshua trees are beginning to bloom as were the wildflowers. Wish you could have been there.
