This is precisely why the Tea Partiers, while working to influence the GOP, should not let themselves become a mere subsidiary of an organization that has far too many faint-hearted time-servers who swoon before the daunting, but absolutely necessary, task of rolling back socialism. Money quote:

To be fair, I can see where the Republican party would be tarred yet again with the epithet "the Party of No" if they tried to repeal Obamacare wholesale. Remember, our left-leaning MSM will trumpet that meme endlessly. It's a political minefield that the Republicans are going to have to find a way through.
OTOH, they can start attacking Obamacare piecemeal, simply by publicising the worst parts of it (for instance, the enforcement of the insurance mandate by the IRS, higher taxes, less coverage, bureaucratic intrusion into the doctor/patient relationship, etc.).
There's a whole lot to be said for the tactic of nibbling to death by ducks. The left have been using it on us for years. Time to pay back.
