A little history

For those who are unfamiliar with Rachel Corrie, the "martyr" after whom one of the Palestinian blockade-runners is named, Stacy McCain has some excellent background. He also draws attention to another death: that of Shiri Negari, a victim of Palestinian terrorism whose demise underscores the contrast between those who seek to live peaceful and purposeful lives, and those who are willing to drown the world in blood in order to give vent to their hatred.

  1. Hmm. I suppose it is callous, but I think I'll celebrate Rachel Corrie by having pancakes in the morning. With maple syrup.

  3. That was a rather stupid thing to do to lay down in front of tank, for goodness sakes! Have to say have only recently heard of her.

  5. Not to be pedantic (except that I am!), but Saint Rachel "Pancake" Corrie earned her sainthood by laying down in front of a bulldozer.

I bring this up mostly to point out how clueless and vindictive lefties are.....her parents sued the manufacturer of the dozer, Caterpillar because:

"The suit charges Caterpillar, Inc. with aiding and abetting war crimes and other serious human rights violations on the grounds that the company provided bulldozers to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) knowing they would be used unlawfully to demolish homes and endanger civilians in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT)."

This for a whacked anti-American American, who was too stupid not to get in the way of earth moving equipment.
