"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Glenn Beck has a great video that is a response to the "History of Stuff". Gotta love using the chalkboard and stick figures to throw it back in the Dem's faces. It's like a "Dick and Jane" primer.

Stossel speaks VERY clearly, but socialists (and, yes, lurking lefties, I *do* include Democrats in that category) never met a tax they didn't like.
ReplyDeleteO/T, but the envirotards will *not* convince skeptics to go "green" with this.
ReplyDeleteI agree with one of the commenters -- this only makes me want to stock up with weapons and ammo.
Warning: Graphic video imagery.
No, you don't get it, and neither does Stossel. To the Democrats, it is not "your" money, it's theirs. It only becomes "yours" when they parcel a tiny bit back that they've already taken from you.
ReplyDeleteI was reading a defence of high taxation from an Australian Uni professor (my memory fails me on the exact name), but the thrust of his arguement was this.
ReplyDeleteThe state and the state alone acting over previous generations have provided the opportunity for you to earn your money. Therefore the state really has claim to 100% of your money as without is benevolent and all encomapssing wisdom there would be no wealth at all.
Pure unadulterated hogcrap of course, yet a person that perverted (I cant think of a more polite term) is a professor?
Don't get me started.
